Potential

In order to get some real power going you're gonna want to break out the potential on your equips.
How do you do that? You get your hands on some of these :

Applying these to the specified equipment will release its potential in blue when you check your equips.

What stats could you get from Potential?

The following is small list of possible potentials. It is by no means exhaustive:

Armor

• Paralyze Resist +3.75%
• Intelligence +3.5%
• Critical Resist +9.75%
• Stun Resist +4.75%
• Max MP +6.50%
• Agility +4.50%
• Strength +4.50%
• Max HP +6.50%

Weapons

• Paralyze +13.50%
• Strength +4.5%
• Physical Damage +5.8-5.8%
• Intelligence +3.5%
• Dark Dmg +8.0%
• Ice Dmg +8.0%
• Fire Dmg +8.0%

Accessories

• Magic Damage +5.8-5.8%
• Physical Damage +5.8-5.8%
• Strength +4.50%
• Max MP +6.50%
• Agility +4.50%
• Intelligence +3.50%
• Max HP +6.50%
• Paralyze Resist +3.75%
• Critical Resist +9.75%

For Weapons, Armor, and Accessories :HP, MP, Str, Agi, Int, Vit
Weapons / Rings Only :Phys, Magic, Fire, Water, Light, Dark Atk
Necklace, Earrings, and Armor Only :Critical Resist, Stun Resist, Delay Resist, Fire, Water, Light, Dark Def
Weapons Only :Critical, Stun, MP Recovery, Magic Def

You will get a mix of these stats randomly when you code a weapon/armor/accessory.
-The stats are percentages (ex : Phys Atk 5.8%, Power 4.5%, Agi 4.5% up on an Epic-grade weapon).

Note : If you buy / obtain an Epic-grade equipment, and it's something you like, potential it first before unsealing!

If you were to code a destruction weapon with stats like the one above in the example, it would be very powerful and sell for a lot and if you got a bad one, you could scrap, resell it, or wipe the potential with a destruction code if you spent time to get it +10 or higher.
(destruction code is a bit on the expensive side though : )

How can I get Potential codes now?
With the new system you can do runs and receive tons of them! Doing Abyss runs nets you epic potential codes, and rarely destruction codes. You can even disassemble Epic Potential Codes for Destruction Codes! It's best to disassemble diamond / crystal codes as theyre the cheapest to transform though.

Hidden Potential System Guide

In Dragon Nest, we are introduced to a system which uncovers the hidden potential of your equipment. You might be more familiar with another system called 'Enchanting', this is essentially what the Hidden Potential system is about.

To get started, all you need to do is obtain one of the following 'Codes' from your daily dungeon runs.

Notice how there are three different types of 'Codes'. Diamond Code covers Accessories, Crystal Code enables Weapons (including offhand weapon) and finally Onyx Code unlocks all other Armor slots.

To start your potential unlocking, simply right click on any of the codes, which will then lead you to the following window:

Then hit apply and you're done! Below are examples of some of the awesome hidden stats you may uncover:

Notice even though accessories cannot be Enhanced, they may be uncovered.

Now sometimes you won't get the right stat on your item. This may make you very upset because who would want +physical damage and +strength on your magic damage equipment?! Thankfully, there is a solution called a Reset Cube. With this item, you can reset any of the previous uncovered hidden potential items and try again for the correct stats.
